--Robert Louis Stevenson Israel's most valuable resource has always been its people. We have an abundance of researchers, scientists, inventors and engineers in many fields that bring the nation much honor and esteem with their achievements. To ensure that this continues we must aim today's youth towards the fields of science and technology, prepare them for the future, encourage creative thinking and challenge them with educational activities in research laboratories.
The Association has developed a plan to implement this lofty goal. Science Enrichment classes and after school activities are at the base of the pyramid. These activities are aimed at elementary, junior and senior high school students in the fields of life sciences, biotechnology and environmental science. In these activities, the youth are exposed to ongoing research projects and high tech industry, and receive quality enrichment activities, including practical experience and hands-on learning. Not all students will reach the top of the pyramid, and some may skip a step or two, but hopefully many of them will climb all the way up with our help. |
