Day five is the main competitor to day four's
"Prettiest day of the journey" title.

It started with a not very long yet monotonous walk to Ein Saharonim. Continued in a section known as “Haparsah” (horse shoe).
We came across a small pack of deer (a longtime good day omen) just before our ascent on “Karbolet Kharirim” which wasn’t easy but also not remotely as challenging as The Karbolet from our second day .

We reached a summit to find the most spectacular view spread below us, with dark mountains on the left and color sand hills on the right. Of all the moments in this trip when I wished I could pass through the camera lens what my eyes were seeing, this moment leaves them all far behind.

We had lunch under a picture-like Acacia,

Then continued in Wadi Ma'ok, climbed up and over to reach Wadi Geled. (glimpsing this view of the riverbed below, from the last waterfall)

We spent our last night in “Kholit” Campground,
pleased to have made it this far.
