Day six
Wake up call was at 5 a.m. by military vehicles finishing an exercise, with no headlights. (We were grateful they remained on the path).

Soon after we started walking we were greeted by another pack of camels. Seeing them eat made us think that this was possibly one of the reasons why all the trees looked so trimmed and well kept.

We climbed Mt. Yahav and met up with a pair of hikers whose footprints and orange peels we'd been following for the last two days.
Just before our second ascent we passed a group in Wadi Tzvira still packing away their night camp (the time was well after 9 AM).

We could see some people at the peak and assumed it was the second pair of hikers, but it turned out to be 2 school groups instead. Not wanting to get stuck behind them on the narrow path down we didn’t linger on for very long.  At the bottom, we passed another group resting in a dry riverbed.

We carried on walking until around noon when we reached a point where “Sapir” suddenly appeared.
We stopped for the last time, and then:

down the mountain,
    into the Moshav,
        found our car,
            celebrated with ice cream
                and started heading North.

We were later told that while trying not to get stuck behind the school groups
we’ve set a new record for doing this part of the trail.
