Once upon a time there was a 10th grade American High School program in Kfar Blum....
There was also a newsletter called the Fireside....
Unfortunately these are all things of the past, but, now we have the Internet! This is going to be an attempt to organize class lists, add on email addresses, and see where it all goes from there.

Please send me any email addresses you know, and I will add them to the lists. I am doing this in my free time, and for now the site is being hosted where I work. I will be happy to receive any suggestions, corrections, or additions.

As of August 16th, 2006 we have 389 email addresses for 503 alumni (77.3%). On June 15th, 1998 I started with only 30 or so addreses. The "leaders" are Class 10 with 100%!!, the 11th class with 96% and their own reunion website, the 13th class with 96%, the 22nd class with 93%, the 4th class with 92%, the 15th class with 92%, the 14th class with 90%, the 7th class with 89%, the 5th class with 87%, the 24th class with 83%, the 3rd class with 78% and the 9th class with 77%. Kol Hakavod!

bullet Kfar Blum Volunteers (and everything else) Web Site - This site was just born - any of you who were also volunteers, ulpan, habonim workshop or ex-Kfar Blum members or know of others who were please check out the site and send your name and email to: Michael Lewis   (As of 2002, there are no more volunteers on Kfar Blum)

bullet There also was an American Class program in Kibbutz Beit Hashita. They started in 1985 as our sister 11th grade program. In 1993 the programs were merged and they had both 10th and 11th grades. Unfortunately they also no longer exist - the second "Intifada" closed them down. You can check out their alumni list too (not sure if it is being updated).

bullet There was an American Class in Pardess Channa too, until 2002. They have a fledgling alumni web site, so if any of you have brothers or sisters who went there, maybe you can help them build their lists.

bullet BirthRight Israel provides a free gift of first time, peer group, 10 day educational trips to Israel for Jewish young adults ages 18 to 26. This is a great offer, that could be suitable for your brothers, sisters, cousins, children (yes, some of us are that old already!), etc...
