Boris Berenfeld, a Russian born educator and biophysicist, is a renowned authority on educational technologies. He is co-founder and Principal Investigator of the Global Laboratory Project, an innovative telecommunications-based science curriculum funded by the NSF. Dr. Berenfeld is also co-Principal Investigator of the GLOBE program, which engages thousands of classrooms from thirty nations in authentic science investigations.
Since 1990, Dr. Berenfeld has been a Senior Scientist for TERC, a leading educational research and development firm in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Before this he was a pioneer in linking Soviet and American schools via telecommunications. Dr. Berenfeld is a highly-sought international speaker on the integration of technologies into education.
