Position:	We work in a public school. Eduardo Ruiz teaches physics and science; Eliana and Tania teach art. Eduardo has been working with Internet in collaborative projects in science learning; Eliana has been working with art through the Internet; Tania has been researching the art teaching with computers in University of Sao Paulo. We research new methods of teaching that include computers, interdisciplinary and collaborative projects.

Proposed Project:	We would like to develop collaborative project that include art, science and humanities from different cultures such as the Western and Eastern cultures, poor and rich nations, to realize the differences and similarities, the common and the unique between the two cultures through its technologies, science and art. We will observe the different regions with its social problems, solutions and culture, in order to solve our own problems and to improve our culture. In our project the central idea is WATER because it is one of the four basics elements in nature, a source of energy and also one of the problems in contemporary society. We could study the problems that each region had and have had with WATER. How each region solved and have solved to this problems. We could offer a general aspect about the WATER in our country, rivers and sea, and then we could come near our study in our region, Sao Caetano do Sul, with its problems and characteristics. The art could be presented by our artists that work with this theme.
